The Newest and Most Complete History of Pompano Beach

The Pompano Beach Historical Society is proud to announce a new book on the history of the community -- Pompano Beach: A History of Pioneers and Progress.

Authored by the Historical Society's executive director, Dan Hobby, the hard-covered book examines the people, events and trends that influenced the development and growth of Pompano Beach. The book is illustrated with well over 100 photographic images, many of which have never been published before.

From the prehistoric Tequesta Indians to Pompano Beach's centennial celebration, this volume will provide the reader with an understanding of how Pompano Beach became today's modern community.

This new book, priced at $30.00, is available for purchase online through PayPal, at Historical Society events, the Pompano Beach Green Market and selected location, as well as by mail.

Those wishing to have a copy mailed to them or sent as a gift should send a check for $36.00 ($30.00 for the book plus $6.00 for postage and handling) to:
