Members of the first graduating class of Blanche Ely High School received their diplomas on June 4, 1952.
In a message to her students, Principal Blanche General Ely, wrote:
We owe our progress to our devoted, hard-working, and wisdom-loving pupils, to our loyal, co-operative, and unselfish parents, to our qualified, alert, and conscientious teachers, to our efficient, energetic and christian county superintendent, school board and school trustees, and to our increasing, unwavering, and dynamic faith in God.
The goal of our school has been, is, and will be noble manhood and womanhood.
The years ahead are replete with opportunities for prepared youth. The boys and girls of this institution must meet the challenge.
