The promotional map below was produced by the Florida East Coast Railway and Steamship Line and is dated 1898, just two years after the railway was extended south from West Palm Beach to Miami.

Only two towns are shown between West Palm Beach and Miami -- Fort Lauderdale and Lemon City.
